Ian has spent nearly 15 years in the NHS Ambulance Services throughout which time he was a practising paramedic. Ian held numerous roles in clinical service development and operational management up to and including Director level. He was the author of the first national evidence based guidelines for pre-hospital care in the UK and part of the senior command team during the 7th July London transport bombings. He was also responsible for the Emergency Bed Service at London Ambulance Service (where emergency calls to MedicAlert are answered). Ian also sits on the Complaints Committee of the Bar Standards Board, regulating barristers. He lives in West London with his wife and step-son. |
