Today there are over 300,000 MedicAlert Members in the UK and Ireland so chances are you will at some stage have a student who wears one.
Diversity is now embraced in most schools and it is important that students know what a MedicAlert emblem means so that should they see one on somebody in an emergency situation they realise the urgency and react!
What is most important is to emphasise that it communicates for people when they can't.
